Zimmerman Lawyer Mark O’Mara a Constitutional, American Hero

John Adams-like Mark O’Mara ROSE to the occasion.  Facing an overzealous, if not malicious, government prosecution zephyred from Washington, D.C., O’Mara — great American — swatted down that brute, big bully with the law…

And, of course, the facts.

Not Guilty!

Central Florida criminal defense lawyer Mark O’Mara was lead attorney in the legal defense team for George Zimmerman and together with Don West, the legal team secured a just result; a Not Guilty Jury verdict for good guy George Zimmerman in the self defense shooting of indisputable thug Trayvon Martin.

Constitutional Hero

Mark O’Mara’s Brilliant Closing Argument projected the United States Constitution, John Adams and Thomas Jefferson.  Really? Really!!  It was near magical.

O’Mara presented beautifully.  He delivered a virtual civics exam.

After weeks of testimony establishing Zimmerman’s INNOCENCE, O’Mara power-pointed a copy of our Constitution onto the courtroom projection screen as he started his closing.  The slide read, “The State of Florida vs. George Zimmerman” over a copy of parchment and it was incredibly moving.

John Adams, Meet Mark O’Mara

John Adams had to deal with angry colonists.  For the past year, Mark O’Mara dealt with race hustlers and a thoroughly corrupt Florida State Attorneys Office.  Angry, misguided (criminal?) race hustlers such as Sleazy Preezy Obama, US Department of “Injustice” Head Eric Holder, Jessie! Jessie! Jessie! Jackson, Rumored Government Rat Al Sharpton, and the MSM.  Corrupt, political prosecutors like Angela Corey and Bernie De La Rionda.

Mark O’Mara beat them all.  He’s a hero.

Quoting John Adams, O’Mara told them, “‘It is more important that innocence be protected than that the guilty be punished.’”  He continued:

“but for guilt and crimes that are so frequent in this world that they cannot all be punished, but if innocence itself is brought to the bar and condemned, perhaps to die, then the citizens say whether I do good or whether I do evil is immaterial.  If innocence itself is no protection, and if such an idea as that were to take hold in the mind of the citizens, then it would be the end of security whatsoever.’”

Proof Was In The Pudding

Immediately, talking head attorneys on the news channels railed against O’Mara for his low-key and methodical presentation.  What do they know?  O’Mara was a highly effective attorney and, most, importantly, he won!

The Prosecution had nothing, other than a screaming and shrill Team for the Prosecution-Persecution of George Zimmerman.  Meanwhile, O’Mara was brilliant and enters the annals of mythic lawyers.

O’Mara rose.  He quoted Thomas Jefferson on the jury system: “‘I consider trial by jury as the only anchor ever yet imagined by man by which government can be held to the principles of its Constitution.’”

You Guys Are Living The Constitution

He told the jury… “You Guys Are Living The Constitution.”   It resonated with those six BRAVE women.  It resonated with us all.

He said:

“That’s you guys,” O’Mara told jurors. “We talked about living the Constitution. Planned or not, you guys are it. You are living the Constitution…this is a solemn matter. Don’t take this lightly, whether it’s through jokes or kidding around, you see us smiling at each other or whatever, this is a serious, serious matter for Mr. Zimmerman and it’s an utterly serious matter for you.”

Closing on O’Mara’s Closing

The jury rendered its verdict.

George Zimmerman is NOT GUILTY of all charges.

We respect the jury’s decision on the law and the facts.  We ALL thank Mark O’Mara and the George Zimmerman legal defense team for fighting the good — no, great — fight for real, actual justice.
