Alabama State Superintendent of Schools, Tommy Bice, is leading the way into the dangerous new area of government over-reach into mental health assessments based on national counseling standards and mental health/behavioral goals for all students K-12th grade. Superintendent Bice serves as an official with approval by Governor Bentley, who is also the president of the state school board.
Republican Governor Bentley is following the same education philosophy as President Obama whose plans include adding psychological testing to the NAEP -National Assessment of Educational Progress in 2017.
